The implosion of Texas Stadium will take place on April 11th and an 11-year-old boy from Terrell named Casey Rogers will push the button that brings the legendary stadium down.

Casey won the right to push the button through an essay contest hosted by Kraft.  He won over the judges by writing about the charity he started to help the homeless, called Casey’s Heart.

His charity organizes monthly trips to deliver basic necessities like jackets, blankets and toothbrushes to people who live on the streets. It’s part of the ministry of Trinity Life Baptist Church, in Garland.

To learn more about Casey’s Heart call 972-303-0123 or visit: http://www.trinitylifebaptistchurch.org/outreach.html.  You can also become of fan of Casey’s Heart on Facebook:  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Caseys-Heart/369598287447.
