Please join the fight to help find a cure at “SHARE 2010.” This is a charitable event hosted by The Gospel Of Hope, a non-profit organization that is committed to programs that help create awareness, support those affected by, and support research for a cure for children with Sickle Cell Anemia in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. This year’s event features Grammy Nominated Christian Recording Artist Wayburn Dean. Proceeds from this event will directly benefit kids and their families in Dallas/Fort Worth.
As you may know, Sickle Cell anemia is a hereditary blood disorder that affects over an estimated 100,000 Americans. African Americans are affected most by the disease with 1 in 500 newborns having the disease. While other affected ethnic groups include Hispanics, people of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern descent, and Asians,
Sickle Cell Anemia is a hereditary disorder that can affect anyone.
