Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor are sponsoring a school supply drive to benefit Mission Arlington from Monday, August 13, through Friday, August 17. Guests who participate will be able to enter the park at a discounted rate.
Park visitors who bring six or more school supplies to Six Flags Over Texas during this time period will receive park admission for half off a general one-day admission ticket. Those who visit Hurricane Harbor and bring six or more supplies will receive $10 off their general one-day admission price.
“Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor are proud to team up and help one of our biggest community outreach institutions, Mission Arlington, by doing this drive,” said Steve Martindale, Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor Park President. “This is also a great way for our guests to get involved and give back, and in return they get a gift of discounted admission.”
Last year Mission Arlington provided supplies to 9,000 students. In addition to the school supply drive, the organization’s various ministries helped more than 400,000 people in 2011. Mission Arlington has been serving the community for over two decades.
