First Presbyterian Church of Duncanville joins with 14,000 congregations expected to participate in National Back to Church Day on September 16. The church also plans several activities in the weeks after the event. The September 16 service will feature a potluck lunch and special guest Buckle the Clown will appear at a fiesta dinner on September 22. A Donation Drive Kickoff for Duncanville Outreach/Austin Street Shelter will take place September 23 with Lemonade on the Lawn and the September 30 service will feature a barbecue lunch with live music from the Lost Immigrants band. Football with Friends is scheduled for October 14 and the church's Fall Festival is October 27 with Bible storytelling and a performance from the choir. All events are free of charge.
